Heartbeat of Home is an amazing dance and music performance from the creators of Riverdance that entrances the audience from the first music beat and shoe tap until the very last. It is a fun show, one that anyone can enjoy because it is filled with dance, music, and performers who truly love what they do and express it through their performance.

The high-energy show is filled with Irish, Latin, and Afro-Cuban dance. The talented dance troupe performs traditional elements of the dances, but also combines them to create exciting numbers that bring the different types of dance together. It is a pleasure to watch the dancers perform because the joy and happiness that radiates off them as they dance is contagious and spreads to the audience. They truly love what they are doing which makes the show even more enjoyable to watch.

Heartbeat of Home is not just a dance show; it is an experience musically and visually. The live band is incredibly talented. They play their instruments so well and have fun performing on stage just like the dancers. The combination of the dancers and musicians is dynamic force making it a performance like no other. Adding to that performance is the projection screen that enhances each scene to transport the audience to the ocean, a nightclub, an island, and other locations. The dancers work with the screen at times to make themselves an extension of it such as with the ocean when their dance movements made them look like turbulent waves. Heartbeat of Home is just a spectacular show from start to finish that will not disappoint.

Heartbeat of Home is currently running until March 23rd at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit. For more information and tickets, visit www.broadwayindetroit.com.
