Over the past seven years, DCNT has awarded scholarships totaling $206,000 to outstanding dancers from age thirteen through graduate school. There is no residency requirement. Teachers have been awarded scholarships for their continuing education. In the past, teachers have attended American Dance Festival, Debbie Allen Dance (LA), Third Coast Rhythm Project (San Antonio, Texas) and Katherine Dunham Workshop.
