Nationally acclaimed FALL DANCE THEATRE is coordinated by CSUF Dance Professor Gladys Kares and runs November 12-November 22, 2015 in the Little Theatre on campus. FALL DANCE THEATRE includes original choreography by students, faculty, and guest artists. CSUF dancers were recently featured at Washington DC's Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Professor Muriel Joyce's piece, "De la Valse à l'Amour," is inspired by songs of Jacques Brel and reflects on friendship and first love. Student Choreographer Chelsea Neiss' contemporary piece, "In Need of Coffee," is inspired by the vibrancy a cup of coffee brings in the mornings. "Illumination" is choreographed by Joshua D. Romero to the music of Chopin. Contemporary modern piece "The Journey We Take Together," choreographed by Nadine Tran, follows a group of individuals that have set their sights on a common goal and embark on a journey to achieve it. Jessica Vela uses the music of Ólafur Arnalds in her piece "The Cloak That Is Given To You," which represents an abstract view from biblical scripture. "Soaring in the Desert, with Clouds" is choreographed by guest artist Nancy Colahan and made possible by Dance Repertory and Performance IRA Grant. Faculty member Macarena Gandarillas uses the music of Max Richter to choreograph her lyrical-contemporary piece "Fragments." Student Choreographer Jonathan Kim's piece "Choosers" is set to the music of Composer Tim Hecker.

Scenic Coordination is by Chris Daroca, Costume Coordination is by Bruce Goodrich, Lighting Coordination is by Debra Garcia Lockwood, Sound Coordination is by Dave Mickey and Hair/Makeup Coordination is by Abel Zeballos.
