Warner Theatre & Humor House to Host Comedy Classes with DC Benny This Fall

The Warner Theatre and Humor House Productions are excited to announce the addition of two upcoming Comedy Classes: Get Your Funny On, for the aspiring comic and a Masters Comedy Class, for the working comedian.

Get Your Funny On is a six week course where aspiring comics will learn how to channel their own experiences into side-splitting comedy and learn the fundamentals of comedy writing and performance techniques to take their talent to the stage. Students will also have the opportunity to perform their first 5 minutes of stand-up LIVE at the Comedy Graduation Showcase on Saturday, September 12th on a Warner Theatre stage! This class is $300 and will be held every Saturday from August 1st through September 5th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education.

The intense, 6-week MASTERS COMEDY CLASS is for the working comedian who wants to take their act to the next level. This class will help students develop their comic persona and personal comedic style while skillfully teaching them how to hone new material and realize their most productive and creative habits. Comics will also have the opportunity to perform 15 minutes of stand-up LIVE at the Comedy Graduation Showcase on Saturday, September 12th on a Warner Theatre stage! Beginning August 1st, this class runs every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm through September 5th. Class Fee is $400. Classes will be held at the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education.

Both classes will be taught by one of the best in the business, DC Benny, a New York-based nationally touring comedian who has been featured on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, network Late Night Shows and comedy clubs all over the country.
