Trinchero Family Estates (TFE) today announced a partnership with Neyers Vineyards. Neyers Vineyards was created in 1992 by Bruce and Barbara Neyers and produces esteemed, small-production wines from top appellations throughout Northern California. The partnership bolsters TFE's steadily growing fine wine portfolio, and complements a pattern of investment across California vineyards and production facilities in recent years.

Napa Valley residents since the early 1970's, Bruce and Barbara Neyers grew up together in Wilmington, Delaware and shared a passion for wine and food that ultimately inspired them to start their family winery. Bruce began in the wine business at Mayacamas, worked for Joseph Phelps winery for 17 years, as well as notable importer Kermit Lynch. The Neyers portfolio is comprised of wines rooted in an old-world style, with suggested retail pricing ranging $25 $100. Neyers wines will continue to be made by current winemaker Tadeo Borchardt, who was touted by the San Francisco Chronicle as a 'Winemaker to Watch'. Notable viticulturist David Abreu planted all of the Neyers' estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards located at their Conn Valley Ranch. The Sage Canyon winery will continue to be the site at which the wines are made. "To partner with a family-owned company that has the infrastructure, capabilities and reputation of Trinchero is a great opportunity for us. This partnership will allow us to continue to focus on the quality of our wines while having a remarkable amount of resources and distribution assets at our disposal," said Bruce Neyers.

The Neyers partnership is another important chapter for Trinchero Family Estates, who has acquired two other Napa-based wineries in the last year: Mason Cellars and Ziata. The Neyers addition brings a strong on-premise and wine club business to TFE, which continue to be areas of focus for the company. Trinchero Family Estates President and COO Bob Torkelson commented, "We are thrilled to bring Neyers into the TFE portfolio as a partner, and continue to grow our offerings with these distinct, vineyard-driven wines that have earned Bruce and his family a well-deserved reputation." Trinchero Family Estates started with humble beginnings in the Napa Valley in 1948, and has since grown into one of the most successful family-owned wine businesses in the US.
