Nick Vatterott to Play Four Shows at Comix At Foxwoods, Begin. 8/1

Chicago Magazine's "Funniest Man in Chicago," Nick Vatterott, will visit Comix at Foxwoods for the first time for four shows Thursday, Aug. 1 to Saturday, Aug. 3. Vatterott will take the stage at 8 p.m. nightly for his first three performances, before wrapping up the weekend with a 'nasty'-themed appearance for his final outrageous performance on Aug. 3 at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

In 2010, The Hollywood Reporter named Vatterott one of the "break-outs" at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Since then, he has gone on to perform on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," TBS' "Conan," and has recorded a half-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central, as well as became an actor and producer on Comedy Central's new series, "Mash Up."

Vatterott has toured with Chicago's storied "Second City," and his sketch group, 'Heavyweight,' has performed at Second City's "Unhinged," as well as the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival. He was additionally the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award in 2011. His comedy has been called everything from high-energy to improvisational, unconventional to outside the box, but above all else, hilarious.
