BroadwayWorld.com can confirm Internet chatter that during the Muny run of HOLIDAY INN, numerous top New York and regional producers descended on the St. Louis venue to check out the show. Sources tell us that next steps have not been decided on for the tuner, but talks are underway for both potential Broadway and regional outings for the show.

Based on the 1942 film, Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with a book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge. Greenberg will directed the Muny production with choreography by Denis Jones. The show premiered at Goodspeed Opera House last fall.

The full cast of the Muny production included: Patti Murin (Linda Mason), Colin Donnell (Jim Hardy), Noah Racey (Ted Hanover), Nancy Opel (Louise), Danny Rutigliano (Danny), Holly Ann Butler (Lila Dixon) and Phoenix Lawson (Charlie). The ensemble includes Alissa Alter, Matthew Borchers, Stephen Brower, Abby Church, Darien Crago, Caley Crawford, Sarah Fagan, Jeremiah Ginn, Juliane Godfrey, Laura Harrison, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Darrell T. Joe, Sean Jones, Charles Ogilvie MacEachern, Isabelle McCalla, Connor McRory, Drew Nellessen, Amy Van Norstrand, Kelly Sheehan and John T. Wolfe.
