Hal Holbrook, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, BALLROOM WITH A TWIST and More Set for Strand-Capitol's 2015-16 Lineup

Downtown York's historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center's new line-up of shows is on sale now to members. New shows include some familiar faces back by popular demand as well as acts never before seen in York. The line-up brings a wide variety of entertainment featuring award-winning music icons, hilarious comedy acts, family-friendly shows and more. Tickets are on sale now to Strand-Capitol members and go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m.

Highlights from the upcoming line-up include:

- Variety: Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight, Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Black Violin, The Midtown Men and Invincible: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson.

- Broadway: NETworks presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and MAMMA MIA! New this year is the Broadway Bundle package, which allows patrons to take advantage of discounted pricing when purchasing tickets to all three featured Broadway shows. The Broadway Bundle package boasts a savings of 15 percent for Strand-Capitol members and 10 percent for patrons and is available for purchase at the box office.

- '90s grunge icon Chris Cornell* *Tickets for this performance go on sale to Strand-Capitol members Friday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. and to the general public Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m.

- Comedy: Last Comic Standing, Sinbad and Whose Live Anyway?

- Family-friendly: Peppa Pig Live, Moscow Festival Ballet in Sleeping Beauty and National Circus and Acrobats of China.

- Dance: Compañia Flamenca José Porcel and Ballroom with a Twist.
