General Hospital Tops 44th ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS; See Winner's List!

The 44th ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium last night, Sunday, April 30th, 2017. This year's ceremony was hosted Mario LOPEZ and Sheryl Underwood. Among the winners were CBS's "The Talk", which picked up the prize for outstanding talk show hosts.

ABC's "Good Morning America" won the Emmy for best morning program, while popular host Ellen DeGeneres won for best entertainment talk show. STEVE HARVEY was a big winner during the event, winning awards for hosting his self-titled talk show, as well as emceeing the popular game show Family Feud.

CBS was the biggest winner of the night, taking home seven trophies, while ABC garnered five. "General Hospital" was the most heralded show with four Emmys, followed by "The Young and the Restless" with three and "The Bold and the Beautiful" with two. At the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held on Friday, the top winners included Netflix's animated comedy "Trollhunters" and NBC's "Days of Our Lives."
