Drew Michael and Nikki Glaser will headline Comedy Works this weekend. Scroll down for details!

Drew Michael

Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square

July 27 - 30

Drew Michael is a New York comedian who looks at life from a dark, cerebral point of view. His rumination on relationships, ex-girlfriends, bestiality, pedophilia, God, religion, government, Hitler, life and death prompted TimeOut Chicago to call him, "Smart, funny and unabashedly crass."

Drew is a founding member of the comedy collective, Comedians You Should Know. The group released a self-titled album, Comedians You Should Know, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. The Onion AV Club says, "The genuine quality of talent on display is unrivaled in Chicago."

As for Drew, he released his first album, titled Lovely, in 2013. The album debuted #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. He followed that release with Funny To Death, on Comedy Central Records and recently released his first special for Comedy Central, The Half Hour. Drew is also a writer for Saturday Night Live.

Nikki Glaser

Comedy Works South at the Landmark

July 28 & 29

Nikki Glaser is quickly becoming one of the most sought after young comedians and actresses in the comedy world.

Glaser can be seen as creator, executive producer, and star of the new Comedy Central series Not Safe with Nikki Glaser. The series features some of comedy's funniest people joke, learn, and share their personal stories about sex, relationships, and other taboo topics. This is Comedy Central's first series to be introduced and developed across multiple social platforms, including a companion Snapchat original series, "Quickie with Nikki."

On stage, Glaser continues to cement her status as a force in stand-up comedy. She just premiered her first one-hour stand-up special, Perfect, on Comedy Central. Glaser is a regular at Hollywood and New York Comedy Clubs and continues to tour the country as a headliner.

Previously, Glaser could be seen as co-host of the MTV late-night talk show Nikki and Sara LIVE and co-hosted the popular podcast You Had To Be There. She has also made memorable appearances on Comedy Central's @Midnight and Inside Amy Schumer.
