Comix at Foxwoods to Welcome April Macie, 7/4-6

The weekend of July 4th will be filled with laughter, as Comix At Foxwoods is set to bring in April Macie for four shows July 4 through July 6. Her first three performances will take place nightly at 8 p.m., while fans are welcomed to witness a "Nasty Show with April Macie" during her final uproarious performance on July 6 at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Macie travels the world collecting stories and experiences, and translates them into relatable tales for audiences worldwide. A finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" in 2006, she has appeared on E!, Sirius and XM Radio, and HLN, as well as "Access Hollywood" and "Talk Soup." In 2005, she was labeled an "emerging talent to watch" at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival by The Hollywood Reporter.

Macie is a regular guest on the "Howard Stern" show, where she was voted the "Funniest and Hottest" comedian in America in 2008. She is also a regular guest on the "Bob and Tom" radio show, has toured with the Bob & Tom All-Stars, and appeared on Showtime multiple times, including in the documentary, "I Am Comic", "Vegas Is My Oyster" and most recently, "Snoop Dogg's: Bad Girls of Comedy."

Macie has been to more than 23 countries, nine of those performing stand-up comedy for the troops. Currently, she spends most of her time traveling the United States as a headlining stand-up comedian.
