Carnegie Hall's Tokyo String Quartet and Jadranka Jovanovic Concerts Cancelled, 10/28 & 10/29

Carnegie Hall today announced the following changes to its concert schedule for Sunday, October 28 and Monday, October 29 due to Hurricane Sandy.

The following two concerts have been cancelled:

· “Celebrating the Tokyo String Quartet,” presented by the Yale School of Music, scheduled for tonight—Sunday, October 28—in Zankel Hall at 7:30PM; and

· Mezzo-soprano Jadranka Jovanovic in recital, presented by Serbian American Music St. Sava, scheduled for tomorrow —Monday, October 29—in Weill Recital Hall at 8PM.

Patrons who purchased tickets for these cancelled performances from Carnegie Hall with a credit card will receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased tickets from Carnegie Hall with cash can return them to the Carnegie Hall Box Office to receive their refund. Ticketholders who either purchased from concert presenters or who have any further questions should contact CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.

The Yonsei Alumni Association Concert, presented by Seong Sook Choi, scheduled for tonight—Sunday, October 28—in Weill Recital Hall at 7:30PM has been rescheduled for Tuesday evening, December 18.
