The Main Street Kids Club: A MathStart Musical, based on the award-winning MathStart books by Stuart J. Murphy, published by HarperCollins Children's Books,

Book and Lyrics by Scott Ferguson, Music and Lyrics by Michael Mahler, presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

The Boston area premiere, presented by Watertown Children's Theatre/Arsenal Center for the Arts, opens March 19 at 7:30 pm, with a pre-show reception at 6:45 pm and post-show talkback and reception with Stuart J. Murphy and playwright Scott Ferguson. This WCT Theatre for Young Audiences production is at the Charles Mosesian Theater at Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, with additional performances on March 21, April 24, and May 2. Murphy, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, The Main Street Kids' Club: A MathStart Musical, tells a tale of adventure, mystery, friendship and math. Six stories, each focusing on a different mathematical concept, have been deftly woven together and adapted for the stage.
