Threesome Without Simone Set for German Stage

German Stage presents this psychological thriller, Threesome Without Simone, featuring Jordan Ahnquist, and brothers David Berger-Jones and Daniel Berger Jones, directed by Guy Ben-Aharon. There will be a Q&A following the performance with award-winning playwright Kristo Sagor. Mr. Sagor will be giving lectures at Brandeis University, Harvard University's ART Institute and Boston University while in Boston.

SYNOPSIS: This psychological thriller revolves around three teenagers accused of abusing a girl during a school trip. Now home, her boyfriend, ex-boyfriend and nerdy admirer are summoned to the principal's office to account for their whereabouts on the night in question.

KRISTO SAGOR was born on March 16th 1976 in Lower Saxony. He studied German literature, linguistics and theatre at the Free University of Berlin. "Threesome Without Simone" was first performed at the University theatre with Kristo playing one of the boys. He studied for a year at Trinity College, Dublin and represented Germany in 2000 at the European Festival of Young Playwrights.

JORDAN AHNQUIST* has worked with The Barnstormers, The Welfleet Harbor Actor's Theater, Speakeasy Stage Company, The Lyric Stage Company, New Repertory Theatre and is often found in the cast of the long running comedy, SHEAR MADNESS, at the Charles Playhouse. Elsewhere, Jordan has worked with Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Montana Shakespeare in The Parks. Favorite credits include, HAMLET, HEARTBREAK HOUSE, TARTUFFE, BIG RIVER, and THE 39 STEPS. He recently shot his first film in the Black hills of South Dakota, and will be performing in the Gamm Theatre's production of MACBETH this winter and spring. Jordan holds a B.A. in theatre from Muhlenberg College.

DANIEL BERGER JONES* is a Boston-based actor and professional Storyteller. As a founding member of fringe theatre company Orfeo Group, he is proud to have been seen in Marisol, Look Back in Anger, Complete Works of Shakespeare, Island of Slaves, and Love Song, winning the prestigious Eliot Norton Award for Best Show by a Fringe Company 3 times in 4 years. Other Boston area credits include shows with Lyric Stage Company, Shakespeare and Company, Actors Shakespeare Project, SpeakEasy Stage, Boston Playwrights', Nora Theatre Company, Company One, Shakespeare Now!, Vaquero Playground, Huntington Theatre Company and most recently, in Heart of Robin Hood at the ART in Cambridge. As a teacher and storyteller, he found his calling as the Founder and President of Cambridge Historical Tours, honing the art of the joke within factual, enlightening, entertaining and educational stories. David BergER-JONES is a recent addition to the Boston theatre community. He was last seen in the Nora Theatre's production of Absurd Person Singular. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2009, and then moved to Los Angeles to work on independent film and Theatre Projects. He loves living and working in Boston theatre, and looks forward to whataver the future may bring.

GUY BEN-AHARON Born in Israel, Guy is the Producing Artistic Director and Founder of Israeli Stage (IsraeliStage.com), an initiative dedicated to sharing the vitality and diversity of Israeli culture. After the success of Israeli Stage, Guy was asked by the Goethe-Institut Boston to develop German Stage. This season, Guy launched Swiss Stage with swissnexBoston and is launching French Stage with the French Cultural Center / Consulat General de France in March, 2014. A proud Emerson College alum, Guy was profiled in The Boston Globe, Ha'aretz, International Herald Tribune, and Yediot America for his passion and work to promote international theatre and cultural bridges in the Greater Boston area.
