The line-up for Stoneham Theatre's Season 16 Special Events showcases a mix of stellar nostalgic music concerts and amusing and entertaining comedy acts. Tickets go on sale to the public July 1, 2015. "The Special Events that Stoneham Theatre presents in addition to its Mainstage shows bring a greater variety of live entertainment options to Boston's MetroNorth," says Producing Artistic Director Weylin Symes. "Audiences will enjoy this fantastic line-up for Season 16. An Evening With Judy Collins sold out early in Season 15, so be sure to get tickets while you still can!"

The Italian Chicks Comedy and Variety Show

August 20-22, 2015

The Italian Chicks Comedy and Variety Show is a passionate blend of comedy, characters, music, song parodies, improv, and Italian-American culture. When these four dynamic, multi-talented women hit the stage, they will make you remember things you paid your shrink to forget. It's a celebration of food, family, memories, and Italian tradition. Whether you're Italian or not, The Italian Chicks will bring you back to a place and time that will have you roaring with laughter and dancing in the aisles.

This performance contains adult subject matter and is not suitable for children.

The Drifters

Performing your favorite Motown melodies, Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll legends The Drifters will appear at Stoneham Theatre this New Year's Eve. The Treadwell family is coming out of retirement for a reunion tour as The Drifters. Eric Turner*, Robert Wiggins*, Andre Reina*, and J.J. David* return to the stage to sing over 50 years of memorable hits. Celebrate the start of a new year with hit songs like "On Broadway," "This Magic Moment," and "Under the Boardwalk." We'll provide the party hats, noise-makers, and a complimentary glass of champagne; all you have to do is show up and have a great time.

We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered

February 12-14, 2016

We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered celebrates the music of one of the most successful recording acts of all time. Led by Michelle Berting Brett and accompanied by a live, 4-piece Nashville band directed by Harry Sharpe, the show re-creates the Carpenters' original sound. Experience an intimate behind-the-scenes portrait of the pop music phenomenon that defined an era, and sing along to hits that include "Close to You," "Yesterday Once More," "Rainy Days & Mondays," and many more! Create memorable romantic moments and share these nostalgic songs with your special someone at Stoneham Theatre this Valentine's Day!

Loretta returns to Stoneham Theatre to give you the tools you need to not only reduce feelings of tension, but also bring joy, passion, and gusto to your life. She will give you dozens of proven techniques for recognizing the ten simple truths that will lead you to an intense, happy, successful life: resilience, living in the moment, optimism, acceptance, humor, creativity, moderation, responsibility, meaning, and connection. The Italian Chicks Comedy and Variety Show runs for three performances: Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 7:30pm; Friday, August 21, 2015 at 8pm; and Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 8pm. Tickets are $30 Standard, $35 Premium, and $40 VIP. There is no Press Opening for The Italian Chicks Comedy and Variety Show.

The Drifters present two performances on December 31, 2015 at 7pm and 10pm. Tickets are $60 Standard, $65 Premium, and $75 VIP. There is no Press Opening for The Drifters.

We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered is open for three performances: Friday, February 12, 2016 at 8pm; Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 8pm; and Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2pm. Tickets are $45 Standard, $50 Premium, and $60 VIP. There is no Press Opening for We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered.

Loretta LaRoche runs May 13-14, 2016. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 2pm. Tickets to Friday's Senior Matinee are $40. Tickets for Saturday are $45 Standard, $50 Premium, and $60 VIP. There is no Press Opening for Loretta LaRoche.
