Joining the previously announced Tony Award-nominee Constantine Maroulis and Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano, the 18-member cast began rehearsals today for the new musical which celebrates the life of the trailblazing DJ Alan Freed.
Constantine Maroulis and George Wendt are set to star in an Industry Presentation of Rock and Roll Man: The Alan Freed Story on Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4. It features music and lyrics by Gary Kupper, a book by Gary Kupper, Larry Marshak and Rose Caiola, choreography by Warren Adams, and direction by Randal Myler and Warren Adams.

The Berkshire Theatre Group cast of Rock and Roll Man: The Alan Freed Story had their first read through earlier this week in New York City! Rock and Roll Man is being presented by Berkshire Theatre Group, in association with five-time Tony Award-Winning Caiola Productions (Once on this Island, Dear Evan Hansen, The Color Purple, All The Way, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf). Rock and Roll Man has a book by Gary Kupper, Larry Marshak and Rose Caiola, with original music and lyrics by Gary Kupper.

We offer classes in Mini-Musical Theater, for the little ones (ages 5 & 6), taught by Lauren DeCloux on Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:20. In this fun and exciting class students will be introduced to various theatre games and performing on all levels. Students will learn valuable acting techniques and have the opportunity to do a lot of singing and dancing as well! The students will perform in a mini musical on the Leddy Center stage at the end of the session.
