Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston to Present ChristmasTime, 12/5-14

Singers, dancers and performers from across Massachusetts will be featured in Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston's spectacular, ChristmasTime, from December 5-14th at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452). Tenor Fred C. VanNess, Jr. of Beverly will be a featured soloist. ChristmasTime is a musical extravaganza that brings the true spirit of the holidays to life. Audiences will be transported by the inspirational Living Nativity, Santa's Workshop, Teddy Bears' Nutcracker, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, Victorian Christmas, precision dancers and heartwarming choral numbers. A cast of nearly 200 comes gift wrapped in fabulous holiday sets and costumes - all backed by a full live orchestra. Tenor Fred C. VanNess Jr. of Beverly returns to Reagle Music Theatre as featured soloist in ChristmasTime. He has sung numerous roles in New England including Don Jose with the North End Music Performing Arts Center, Don Ottavio with Longwood Opera, and Tamino with Opera del West. Mr. VanNess's upcoming engagements include an Aria Concert with The Salem Philharmonic Orchestra in February 2015 and numerous recitals in the New England area. Fred holds degrees from Longy School of Music, Louisiana State University, and McNeese State University and currently studies with Ruth Golden.

Children, adults and family groups from across Massachusetts will also appear in ChristmasTime and represent over two dozen regional towns.

ChristmasTime is a cornucopia of sights and sounds that offers families the simple gift of the true spirit of the season. A cast of over 50 adults and 125 children from two dozen Greater Boston communities come together on stage, bringing all the comfort and joy of the season. Ring in the holidays with a choir of carolers presenting a Victorian Christmas, and delight as the young ballerina Clara dances to visions of sugar plums in the Teddy Bears' Nutcracker. Children will also be enchanted as 100 boys and girls are transformed into adorable elves in the colorful Santa's Workshop.

Performances of ChristmasTime will run Fridays, December 5 and 12 at 7:30 pm; Saturdays, December 6 and 13 at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, and Sundays December 7 and 14 at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
