Due to popular demand, the Huntington Theatre Company has extended the run of its production of Ripcord, by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Jessica Stone, through July 2. The added performances are Tuesday, June 27 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, June 28 at 7:30pm; Thursday, June 29 at 7:30pm; Friday, June 30 at 8pm; Saturday, July 1 at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, July 2 at 2pm and 7pm. Ripcord plays at the Huntington's Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA, 527 Tremont Street, Boston.

A new block of seats are on sale now. Single tickets start at $25 and can be purchased online at huntingtontheatre.org by phone at 617 266 0800, or in person at Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA Box Office, 527 Tremont St. in Boston's South End and the BU Theatre Box Office, 264 Huntington Ave.

Production photos for Ripcord are now available and can be downloaded from the photo library on the Huntington's website. A behind-the-scenes video about rehearsing Ripcord and a teaser video are also available.

In this deliciously inappropriate new comedy, cantankerous Abby is forced to share her room in assisted living with endlessly chipper Marilyn. The two women make a seemingly harmless bet that quickly escalates into a dangerous and hilarious game of one-upmanship, revealing hidden truths that neither wants exposed. Time Out New York says Ripcord is "great fun and genuinely moving," and TheaterMania says, "there's something for everyone in this laugh-out-loud comedy overflowing with massive amounts of heart."
