Cape Rep's 2016 season continues with The Woman in Black, by Stephen Mallatratt and Susan Hill. This classic ghost story is the second longest running play in London's West End. Arthur Kipps, a middle-aged solicitor, is tortured by an episode from his past when, while settling the estate of an elderly recluse, he is visited by a woman in black, a figure who terrifies the locals. He hires an actor and a theater to help him reenact his experience, and exorcise the specter that haunts his life.

Runs through October 16: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm; there are no performances on September 18 or 21. Tickets are $28. Pay-What-You-Can-Night is September 16. Group rates & Student Rush tickets also available. Call the box office for details. Cape Rep Indoor Theater. North Side Route 6A E. Brewster. 508.896.1888 or www.caperep.org.
