OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's destination for theater and nightlife on the fringe of Harvard Square, has been bringing exciting and original programming to the space in 2011. The home of the A.R.T.'s hit productions of The Donkey Show, Cabaret and Prometheus Bound, OBERON also presents the work of local and visiting talent. The end of June and month of July bring many exciting new events:

Sunday, June 26th at 8:00pm
SLOPPY SECONDS
Produced and Presented by Axe to Ice Productions
The twisted minds at Axe To Ice Productions are bringing a revolutionary show to OBERON in the form of a burlesque showdown AGAIN! Presenting the return of Sloppy Seconds, a high-concept burlesque show that offers two different takes on the same song.

THE BIG QUIZ THING
Presented by The Big Quiz Thing and OBERON
Having entertained thousands in New York and nationwide, the Big Quiz Thing now presents the ultimate multimedia test of useless knowledge at OBERON every month, with the very grand prize of $200.

THE HERO BASH

James Cerne and The Foxy Action Group bring Disco back to its roots with a multimedia performative tribute to the Genesis of Nightlife. Dancers, Musicians, Video projections, and 3 DJs join forces to provide an electrifying night for the curious, the confident and the proud.

CLANDESTINO

Set aside your stereotypes of Latin music (is your list limited to salsa and merengue?) and come ready to experience the new sounds of Latin America. DJs will spin nouveau-eighties, electropop, vintage rock, and psychedelic cumbia, accompanied a percussionist ensemble. A guest band and VJ will round out the night, creating an event to die for.

After a triumphant engagement in the Boston area, the Big Quiz Thing brings its multimedia team-trivia spectacular back to OBERON. Quizmaster Noah Tarnow, the trivia king of NYC, joined by DJ-sidekick EDP and the B-Cuties, presents the ultimate test of useless knowledge, for a very grand prize of $200 cash. Featuring the Rebus in Peace video round, the Big Endings audio round, Smart-Ass Points for wrong but funny answers, the Lightning Round, the Three-Way Finale, and a whole lot more.
