Citi Performing Arts Center announced today that legendary rock band Foreigner will play Boston's Citi Shubert Theatre on October 24, 2016. The show is part of the band's "The Hits Unplugged " tour, which will give audiences the unique and intimate experience of witnessing masterful performances of Foreigner favorites like "Cold As Ice", "Hot Blooded", "Juke Box Hero", "Waiting For A Girl Like You," and many more. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, May 12 at 10am.

In February 2016, Foreigner released their first-ever live acoustic album 'In Concert Unplugged' and the band's royalties are being donated to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Foreigner recorded this unique acoustic album at a once-in-a-lifetime private concert hosted by Edsel Ford on August 24, 2015 at the Ford Motor Company Conference & Event Center in Detroit, MI. The album was recorded immediately following the band's record-breaking, sold-out, ten-show stand with Kid Rock at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.

Tickets for Foreigner go on sale to the general public Thursday, May 12, at 10am. For up to date information and to purchase tickets, go to citicenter.org, call (866) 348-9738, or visit the Citi Center Box Office.
