Citi Performing Arts Center announced today that legendary rock band Foreigner will host Spark, an 8th grade choral group from Loyola Academy in Brighton, MA, who will sing with the band during a performance of their timeless 1984 hit "I Want to Know What Love Is," at the Shubert Theatre on October 24, 2016. Tickets are on sale now.

This performance is part of Foreigner's ongoing charity partnership with the Grammy Foundation, which works to maintain and restore music education in North America's public schools, and raise awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education.

"As far as I'm concerned, music is not only the most powerful form of communication between the peoples of the world, it provides a gateway that opens up a fantastic new dimension of feeling and creativity. Anything we can do to provide our young ones with the tools to express themselves through music, is our goal in this partnership," Foreigner guitarist and founding member Mick Jones said.

As part of its charity initiative, Foreigner is donating $500.00 to the choir to use towards its music program.

A Foreigner greatest hits CD set will be made available for purchase at the concert. Members of the choir will be selling the CD set to concertgoers both before and after the performance. For $20.00, the buyer can purchase this live set that features all of the band's classic hits and a raffle ticket that will enable them to enter a drawing to win an autographed Foreigner guitar. The guitar will be raffled off at the end of the performance. The proceeds from the sale of the CDs will be donated to the Grammy Foundation program.

Tickets for Foreigner are on sale now. For up to date information and to purchase tickets, go to citicenter.org, call(866) 348-9738, or visit the Citi Center Box Office.
