Elements Theatre Company is into full swing for performances of A.R. Gurney's comedy, Sylvia. Opening night is August 13 at 7:30pm, at Paraclete House, Rock Harbor, Orleans.

Performances are August 13-20, 2017, with pre-performance dinners on Saturday, August 12 and 19 at 6pm.

Directed by Sr. Danielle Dwyer, Elements Theatre Company presents A. R. Gurney's play, Sylvia-a smart, playful, sophisticated and occasionally gritty comedy about relationships, nature, and growing older. Greg and Kate have entered the empty-nest time in life and have moved to Manhattan after 20 years in the suburbs. Greg is struggling with being dissatisfied with his job but Kate is excited about her new teaching opportunities and new found freedom. Sylvia, an exuberant, lovable dog enters into the middle of their relationship, challenging their marriage and their habitual points of view.
