Boston Journalists to Discuss Ryan Landry's Work at Humanities Forum This Sunday

Four Boston journalists who have each covered Ryan Landry for more than a decade will take part in a panel discussion about the playwright and producer's career, works, and unique form of satire at the Huntington Theatre Company's Humanities Forum on Sunday, April 21 following the 2pm performance of Ryan Landry's "M". Joel Brown has written the "Stages" column for The Boston Globe since 2009 and contributes to many sections of the paper. Previously, he was arts editor of the Boston Herald. He is also the author of the new Essex Coastal Byway Guide.

Terry Byrne is an arts journalist whose theater criticism appears regularly in The Boston Globe. From 1995 until 2006, she served as the chief theatre critic and a columnist for the Boston Herald. She has been a regular guest on WGBH-TV's "Greater Boston" and was featured in a segment on ABC-TV's "20/20." She is a Resident Scholar at Brandeis University's Women's Studies Research Center and an adjunct professor at Boston College. She has an MFA in playwriting from Boston University where she won a Robert Pinsky Global Travel Fellowship.

Nicholas Dussault has been an entertainment writer and the chief theatre critic for the Boston Metro for the past twelve years. Prior to that, he was a City Editor for AOL's Entertainment web sites (Digital City) in Chicago, Tampa, and Boston.

Louise Kennedy oversees live events and other direct, local forms of connecting with Boston audiences as the director of community engagement at WBUR. Before joining WBUR, she was a longtime editor and writer at The Boston Globe, most recently as theatre critic. She is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and holds a bachelor's degree in history from Yale College. None of that has stopped her from raving about Ryan Landry's work.
