BCT Invites Boise to Go Glam at its 21st Season Opening Gala Celebration

Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT) is adding a whole lot of GLAM to its upcoming 21st Season Opening Gala Celebration and Fundraiser.

The BCT 16|17 Season Glam Gala takes place on Saturday, September 17, 2016, and features entertainment by the cast of the upcoming BCT Season Opener HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH.

HEDWIG is the FIRST full-blown musical for BCT. Adam Enright-out of New York City-will play Hedwig herself, and will be joined by Boise's own Tess Worstell and Thomas Paul leading the band to perform a sneak peek from the upcoming play, directed by Tracy Sunderland.

The Glam Gala takes place at BCT, located at 854 Fulton Street in downtown Boise. Beginning at 6 pm, guest arrive for cocktails and a silent auction. Then at 7 pm, guests move into the theater for the HEDWIG performance followed by a live auction.

Exciting auction items include an "Experience the Magic of Africa" Safari Trip featuring a week stay at Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge in Johannesburg, South Africa; a NYC Theater Experience including airfare, lodging, and Broadway tickets; and Dinner to Remember for 10 at James Beard-nominated State & Lemp.

Then, at 7:45 pm, guest will step outside for a delicious three-course meal by Leslie Charles Events accompanied by local wine and beer and incredible desserts served under the stars in BCT's beautifully lit, decked-out adjacent alleyway.

It's always a memorable party and it's BCT's biggest fundraiser of the 16|17 Season. Tickets are $125 per person, and Tables for 8 can be purchased for $1,000. For those who cannot attend or wish to give additional support, ticket sponsorships to support BCT artists and technicians are available for $100 each, and are 100% tax deductible. A significant portion of Single Seats and Table purchases are tax-deductible.
