I'd love to hear opinions from people who have actually seen the current shows.

I'll use your answers to help me decide which show to see next.

Thanks.

Cruel_Sandwich, MACBETH isn't on Broadway right now. It hasn't even begun previews.

See Xanadu if you have not yet. It may not be the "best" show on Broadway right now, but it is so much fun. On terms of "best" show, I would say Spring Awakening.

South Pacific is the most substantial and rewarding musical currently playing. It benefits from a first class production.

August: Osage County and The Seafarer are the best plays.

My opinion is Xanadu or Curtains. I'm anxious to see South Pacific and August next month.

HAIRSPRAY, AUGUST, and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.

No contest. A hip new classic, a remarkable stage play, and a celebrated Sondheim artistic masterpiece.

Honestly, the best show on Broadway right now is Sunday in the Park with George.

AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. Definitely.
And then what if you are?
What a Prince would envision?
Although how can you know who you are till you know
What you want, which you don't?
So then which do you pick:
Where you're safe, out of sight, And yourself, but where everything's wrong?
Or where everything's right And you know that you'll never belong?

Oh this is hard, it's between Xanadu or Sunday in the park but they are so different. Xanadu for the pure fun but I can't stop thinking of SUnday even though I saw it 2 weeks ago now
