I'm doing a dance private this year at my studio, and I'm doing a Broadway jazz dance and a Broadway tap. I want to do "I Can Do That" for my jazz (I prefer the Broadway revival version anyways). What are some male Broadway songs that are good for tap dancing? I'm the only boy at this studio, so it needs to be impressive!
I want to apologize for some offensive messages posted on this board under my name. The night 0f 12-15-08 I did not have internet access, and someone had used my name to post something offensive. My avatar was also changed. I dont' know what else was posted, or if anyone recieved bad PMs, but I want to apologize for that. I've changed my password, and even though I was not the one posting these messages it still needed to be corrected.
In the Same Boat from Curtains would be great to tap dance to. All you need is the sailor costumes, cowboy suits, the mermaid tail, and poof, you're all done.
Cold Feet would be a good tap-dancing number, too.
I Can't Be Bothered Now from Crazy for You. The thing about doing this song is that it has to look effortless, so your tap has to be top notch.

You might have heard of the musical "Hot Shoe Shuffle" from several years ago. While the first act had original music, the second was mostly a tap performance using already existing music. Here's the song list from Act 2:
* Puttin' on the Ritz * How lucky can you get * Song & dance man * Little Brown Jug * Pennsylvania 6-5000 * Mood Indigo * Tiger Rag * How long has this been going on * I've got a gal in Kalamazoo * It don't mean a thing * Song for dancing medley * The birth of the blues

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

I once saw "Shall We Dance" from the King & I done as a tap number.
