I saw the Witches of Eastwick in London, and I thought it could do well on Broadway.

Metropolis. Have only heard the recording (a long time ago), but thought it had great potential.

I really wanted to see 'Daddy Cool' and 'Dancing in the Streets'.

Going to a musical late in its run is like going to a prostitute late in her shift.

Whistle Down the Wind?

question mark because I am no expert, so I don't even know where this show has been performed, I just think it was in London only

It played Washington DC.

I personally love the score to "The Beautiful Game" and would love to see a production.

Ick. Hated BLOOD BROTHERS. Left at intermission.

But would love to see a production of THE FIX.

Saw the recent WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND London revival. Or reworking. Or whatever. Shouldn't come to B'way. It'll definately bomb.

I saw Beautiful Game in London. I don't think Americans would receive it that well. You have to have an understanding of years of strife and terrorism in order to understand the show. Additionally, I didn't think it was ALW's best music.

Does anyone remember the Dave Clark musical TIME? It was just too big to come over, but I loved it. Also, Metropolis and Witches. Maybe Witches will transfer.

My parents saw Time a couple of times (lol!) I think, and they loved it. Apparently the opening section was very impressive- lights everywhere. They have the album, but I've never got round to listening to it. Might get the old LP player down from the loft at some point. I'd like to have seen it just because of the Olivier factor- I know he wasn't in it personally, but anything he touches would have been amazing!

As for whoever said Return to the Forbidden Planet, they are right! You are definitely missing a treat there. Bob Carlton's classic is great- IMO a better kitsch fun night out that either Little Shop or Rocky Horror. I love it. And you can't beat a bit of Rock n Roll AND Shakespeare in the same show! Not to mention Sir Patrick Moore! It's possibly the most fun night out I've ever had at the theatre. Seen it three times and still constantly check for it coming back near me again!

I'm from the UK as well, so again can't comment on what I'd like to have seen- only what you've missed out on! Has We Will Rock You opened on Broadway? Also, Jolson? That was a good show. Brian Connolly was a surprisingly good impersonator of the world's greatest ever entertainer!

If we were looking at it the other way, I really want Urinetown to come over the pond to the UK. I've been dying to see it ever since I first read about it. I'm also intrigued by Aida! Written by Sir Tim Rice and still not produced in the UK- what is happening there!???
