Does anyone know what Steven Scott Springer (former Marius understudy) Andrew Redeker (former Marius) Ivan Ruterford (former Valjean...yeah, I know his son is in Tarzan, just wondering if Ivan is performing since Les Miz tour closed), Jenny Paz (Kim in Saigon) or Thomas James O'Leary (Phantom) are up to? I was going through some programs and I remember them all being great in the roles they played, but have not heard too much on them lately.......just curious.

Where is Lacey Hornkohl??

I was AMAZED by her in "Grease" despite the fact that I DESPISE that show...She was brilliant and delightful.

Would love to see her again.

I think Ivan is giving voice lessons these days.

Steve Scott Springer is no longer in the biz.

Thanks. Steven Scott Springer left the business? Bummer. He was great as Marius, and a million years ago was good as Nick in Fame out in L.A. Any idea what he is doing now?

I think a lot of former Valjeans give voice lessons in between shows, I suppose. There are not SO SO SO many roles that allow you to show the goods as Ivan did in Les Mis, or for that matter, most of the Valjeans. Robert Marian being the exception as I really thought he was quite bad in the role.....again, thanks for the quick reply.

According to Jennifer's Paz's official site, she played Evita in a community production of "Evita" last year.

Ben Wright.. the cutie that originated the role of Jack in INTO THE WOODS...

What happened to him?

I must admit, I get someone depressed when people leave show business.

seriously.. sometimes i consider racking these people with homing devices, haha.. because it seems they more often than not great performers just drop off the face of the earth. but, that's show biz.

Sometimes they are happy to. They do it to start a family or whatever. Nothing against them, but it can be dissapointing for the admirers.

I second the query on Lacey Hornkohl, who was in the ensemble of CAROUSEL at Lincoln Center while still in high school and playing the leads in SMOKEY JOES CAFE and GREASE before she was 21.

I know she changed her name to "Lacey Kohl" and moved to L.A. According to the imdb, she does one or two guest spots on t.v. a year -- but I agree its a real waste. She could have been a pretty sizable Broadway star if she'd stayed in NYC.

Come back to musical theatre, darling!

Jennifer Paz works with the East West Players in LA sometimes. I just saw Jeffrey Denman in White Christmas last year.

Yes, we do need a third vampire musical.--Little Sally, Gypsy of the Year 2005.
