Probably yes ... for The Little Foxes the 30u30 email was sent out 13 days before the 1st preview. Given that same time-frame then one for the Prince of Broadway should hit your Inbox on July 21st.
Is it okay if Walmart decides to charge more for a shirt a set of dishes to someone who is 45? Is it illegal to discriminate in this country based on age or not?
I understand the program and am happy young people are able to enjoy the theater but how is it legal to charge different prices based on age for theater but not for baseball games or hamburgers?
Well #1, there are DEFINITELY discounts to sporting events, etc, for those under 30.
I turn 30 in 2 years and am not looking forward to it (only because of the loss of discounts). I wish I could submit my 1040 to prove I can't afford these full price tickets, lol.
It's probably legal because they can charge whatever they want for tickets. Why is it legal for seniors to get a cheaper burger at a restaurant than younger people?
Also, these are nonprofits that do this, so that may be your answer there. Also... It's the theater's decision. There are other opportunities to get inexpensive tickets.
