Theatres that are currently dark or will be tenantless, come spring 2018: American Airlines, Booth, Cort, Golden, Hudson, Neil Simon, Studio 54, Walter Kerr.
Theatres that will questionably be vacant by spring 2018: August Wilson, Brooks Atkinson, Hirschfeld, Jacobs, Longacre, Lunt-Fontanne, Lyceum, Nederlander, Neil Simon, Shubert.
I mean imagine Mean Girls would be better in something like the Jacobs. It's a smaller house, which would allow the comedy to be played simpler. And I can't imagine it will be a huge production. But I suppose we won't know.
Isn't the new rumor Angels in America is going into the August Wilson? I think the Neil Simon is where it's headed, because isn't it playing a Nederlander theatre out of town?
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Neil Simon - ANGELS IN AMERICA. (Is that a continuation of the Eugene trilogy??)
I have heard MEAN GIRLS is going to one of the large musical houses owned by the Shuberts.
I wonder what ends up at the August Wilson and the Hirschfeld if those shows close in January. (I also wonder where CAROUSEL will end up, though I imagine that would be to another large-musical-Shubert venue?)
