Shorter "Highlights" reels?

It seems that most shows only have about a minute of highlights posted anymore on sites like Broadway.com and such. Most of them used to be at least 4 minutes or so.

Has there been a change? Or am I just not looking in the right places??

Yeah those have been shorter. in the future I hope shows start doing trailer videos like Miss Saigon did : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3lTV-da5Kw instead of hightlights.

I am also in favour of more footage being released. I know the 10min Hamilton B roll did a lot to get people hooked on the show

I've been disappointed lately that a lot of highlight videos seems to be a song playing over a few short, random clips. I miss the 5 minute videos that really highlighted shows, and if they were musicals, different parts of the score.


A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
