If you've been on Twitter lately, and follow enough Broadway-related accounts, I'm sure you've seen the account "bway confessions," where people submit their opinions about Broadway shows/actors, and the account posts these opinions anonymously. This account has both raised some very interesting opinions about issues involving theatre, and caused some dissension amongst the Broadway goers.
So if you've seen that account (or sent in any confessions), what is your opinion on it? Do you like it, or do you think it's pointless?
And if you haven't seen the account, and can handle some um...passionate(?) opinions, it's definitely worth a look.
These types of accounts used to be really popular on tumblr. They always managed to turn nasty. I'm not a fan of confession account anywhere. In general I just find them kinda dumb.
It's whatever. An account for mainly teenagers to share their opinions. I know Will Chase saw it and expressed his distaste for it and apparently Josh Groban was shown it and accidentally retweeted something from it which is amusing.
I will say that most of the opinions shared are done so politely (or are called out in the replies if not) and not with the same malice as the old Broadway Secrets livejournal account had, which is nice.
