Maybe I should clarify for those on here who don't understand. Yes, I know Hamilton sold out, but with standing room availability, the max capacity is 101.8%. I find it surprising that it would ever dip below 101.8%, even if it's .02%.
Way to go On Your Feet! With $880K I doubt it will be closing up shop anytime soon- the holidays should fare well for it, and if the producers were smart, they'd ink a deal with Gloria to step into the role of the grandmother this winter...

If you look at their weekly 2016 capacities, most times it's 101.8% but often 101.7% and sometimes even a bit less. Pretty sure that's a function more of their not making a few standing room slots available for certain performances for whatever reason than that they couldn't find anyone to buy them.
KINKY BOOTS is still doing well. Happy for that show. Nice to see COLOR PURPLE also doing well.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I'm really upset the shuberts pulled the stop clause out on Matilda. It doesn't seem to be doing too shabby. If only they could have transferred the show at the very least, but I digress.

Matilda is doing well but it's a VERY expensive show...and it's not making what it needs to stay open.
I was surprised when I was in London recently that Matilda is still such a hot ticket...out of all the shows at the London TKTS booth, Matilda was one of the few that offered no discounts at all..still after all these years.

It's no great mystery: the St. James wasn't available. Technically, neither was the Shubert. Matilda's stop clause was implemented to accommodate Hello, Dolly (it was originally going into the Imperial, but Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 decided to go for an open run). "

@jorge, as I said, it is not the case. You can't trust everything you read here (or anywhere). First of all, the number of times stop clauses have been invoked can be counted on your fingers. Secondly, the stop clause is not invoked months in advance. Finally,I don't think the show has ever fallen into a range where it could be invoked in any event.
