Webber is either losing his acumen or looking for a patsy. We'll see what happens, and figure it out accordingly. Either way, my vote is giving Ken this much access to power and money ends with Drabinsky-level behavior.
Webber was my entry level music, that got me hooked on musicals, I still hold some of his stuff in very high regard, however I admit he is a god awful producer.

Welp, guess we now know that Davenport's company (and many random ventures) wasn't making any profit and/or wasn't financially viable. I never worked with him, but heard his office was like a sweatshop. So he took a gig to pay the bill(s)...collectors.
Granted, non of Davenport's ideas and methods have proven successful but I imagine Really Useful likes the idea of "new/modern" ways to approach theatre like crowdsourcing and tweet seats.
