according to the press release, anyone who has purchased tickets based on the Belasco seating chart will be transferred to Identical / similar / equivalent seats at the Music Box, since the seating for the orchestra and the front mezz is the same.
The only difference is that people with balcony seats will most likely be transferred to rear mezzanine at Music Box.

I just realized that 'opening night' is set for December 4th..... However there are no shows on the 4th & 5th.... So does this mean they'll have their premier on the 3rd or the 6th?
Opening night is the premier. They often don't sell tix to the public for that night until much closer to the date....its saved for many VIPs.

I was curious to see if balcony seats were still being sold last night (9/13). I checked two dates in December and no balcony seats were available. I doubt these got sold. More likely, Telecharge shut off the option to buy these seats to make it easier to transition customers from Belasco to Music Box.
That Marquee is the definition of boring. The font isn't catchy, there's no design, and its not eye catching. Hopefully they're able to change it seeing as the screen is LED.
The poster design was never very exciting to begin with. A plastered hand tells me nothing about how deep this show supposedly is. They need a better ad campaign, even with the raves.

You are receiving this email because you have ordered tickets for DEAR EVAN HANSEN at the Belasco Theatre. All performances of DEAR EVAN HANSEN will now be at the Music Box Theatre, beginning as scheduled on November 14, 2016.
Our team is currently working to transfer your tickets to the new venue. We don’t expect it to take too long, and we will be in touch with more information as it becomes available. For now, here’s what we know:
• Many customers will receive new tickets for the Music Box Theatre. New tickets will be sent prior to the performance—via the delivery or pick-up method selected at the time of purchase. These ticket holders will see a refund and new charge for the same amount on their credit cards.
• Most customers in the Orchestra and Front Mezzanine sections will retain their same seating locations at the Music Box. Some customers in the Balcony and other areas of the Belasco Theatre will be assigned new seats at the Music Box Theatre at the same price.
• We will be in touch to let you know whether you can use your existing tickets at the Music Box Theatre, or whether you’ll be issued new tickets.
If you have any questions please contact: Telecharge Customer Service 212-239-6210 / 800-543-4835 (9am-9pm EST)
We will contact you shortly with specific instructions, and we apologize for any inconvenience this venue change may have caused.

Why oh why does Telecharge insists on doing this? It reduces the overall perceived trust in the process, even if there's no actual impact.
When I read that, I cringed a bit. I thought but what if they credit then charge again and for some strange reason, it gets declined? I work in retail for years and declines for no other reason than a customer needed to call their bank to confirm does happen. I hope that to happen to me and the seats I chose gets sold in the meantime. I am going to pray for smooth sailing =)

This really bothers me as I could lose money due to the exchange rate (I'm international). They always do this on exchanges, whereas when I have gotten an exchange with Ticketmaster they don't charge again at all (unless you are buying a more expensive seat, they just charge the difference). It's also annoying as it can take days to get the refund too.

If it makes you feel any better - there was an Australian poster on The Great Comet post who had the same concern. The way it happened in their case was the refund and recharge were both the same amount still - but they were for the new exchange rate. So the customer didn't lose any money.
The refund speed, however, is something I don't think even Telecharge can control. Credit card companies are notoriously difficult about actual incoming credit.

Thank you so much for mentioning this, because it made me realize that I've received a new credit card (my wallet was stolen) since I purchased these tickets. With that in mind, I just got off the phone with Telecharge, and they basically read the email we all received today back to me and said that for orchestra seats they may not need to do a refund (for mine I bet they will because the seat numbers are different, but I digress). At any rate, he seemed to think that Telecharge would be contacting us regarding our specific situation and if any problems arise. He assured me that I would keep my seats even if they had a problem with the card. Not terribly convinced, but take from my conversation what you will. I hate this uncertainty!
I wish they did something extra like how they decorated the facade for Pippin."
I'm sure these aren't the final images. The beauty of the electronic marquee is that they can change it when they have the full set of art and production photos. Since they JUST announced the change, this was probably just to get an image up there to start promoting the show, especially at its new house.
