I could be wrong, but I think they took precautions to prevent downloads. (Whether those precautions worked, I don't know.)
I believe this because I sent them an email telling them I had "downloaded" the show because I so much enjoyed the streamed production. I wanted them to know they had made some money off the free presentation. What I meant by "download" was that I went to iTunes and downloaded the OCR, not that I had downloaded the stream.
But I immediately got a polite but concerned email from somebody with the production asking how the hell I had captured the stream. S/he seemed quite perturbed.
I explained my poor choice of words and that ended the matter.
Ken Davenport did a Facebook Live Q&A recently and I asked if DDL might be released on DVD or something like that. He said that they are working on some way to release the show video but he couldn't yet reveal any specifics.
