With Hello Dolly, Dear Evan Hansen and (potentially) War Paint, it's hard for me not to think about visiting NYC. Perhaps it's too early to tell, but does anyone have any 'inside' information on if/when War Paint may transfer? It's selling pretty well already, and I feel like there is no way you assemble that cast and creative team without having bigger things in sight than Chicago.

Given Michael Greif is involved in both projects, does it prevent them from opening at a similar time? (e.g., next spring?). Will we see one upon in the fall and the other next year?

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I thought it's already confirmed for the Nederlander.

Grief shouldn't have too much of a problem seeing as Evan Hansen is already running and a transfer wouldn't be too laborious. It'll be kind of like Joe Mantello earlier this season.

it's coming to Broadway, allegedly to the Nederlander. They took all New York people to Chicago, including the crew, and management team...

Great thanks. Any idea if it is a fall or spring opening?

Cindy Adams said next spring, which makes sense, since LuPone said she has an option for two more seasons of Penny Dreadful (which films in Ireland in the fall and winter).

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

And mowtown has an 18 week run at the Nederlander starting in the summer.
