Hi all,

NYer visiting London in 2 weeks. I have a wonderful set of shows booked (Funny Girl, Mrs. Henderson Presents and Sunset). I have ONE more slot left and I wanted to get opinions.

I see there are some seats left for Welcome Home, Captain Fox at the Domnar. Has anyone scene it? The reviews seem to have been largely positive. I'm debating between that and How the Other Half Lives at the Haymarket. I love Alan Ackybourn (Norman conquests will always be a favorite theatre experience) so this could be a great option. Has anyone seen it?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Welcome Home... isn't one for the ages, but it's great fun and stylishly executed. No reviews for the Ayckbourn yet, though with that creative team it's likely to be a solid revival.

Other options: People, Places & Things is fantastic, as is Ma Rainey's Black Bottom at the National. Sunny Afternoon also fun if you want another musical.

Thank you so much for your response. I've decided to wait and see how the reviews are tomorrow and I'll make my decision from there. I have been circling People Places Things as well. I think it will come down to those two. I'll report on what I see!

It's an interesting evening with a very lively performance by Danny Webb.  Not a classic, but i came it feeling glad I'd seen it.
