I tried to see her 3 times and she was out of the show each time I went. The girl didn't have the stamina for Broadway at the time. Luckily I watched a bootleg of her and realized I wasn't missing anything.
Very disappointing; I just kept thinking how much better Patina was in the part. Also, I think they didn't renew Patina as they thought a "name" would allow stronger box office. So it was very dispiriting.
Hamilton22, I'm guessing you always tried on Sundays? Later into her run she didn't do Sunday matinees for a while because of previous commitment, not because of stamina.
Michael19, Patina left to do Pippin. She didn't leave because she wasn't a name.
I saw her about 4 times and I thought she was absolutely wonderful. I'm a crazy Patina fan, and although Raven didn't have the vocal runs that Patina did so well, she soared on the higher notes that Patina struggled with. If you go on any site and take a listen just look at the end of Fabulous, Baby. Absolutely no struggle with that placement for the final note. She did a great job comedically, there were some lines that were given completely new deliveries and I really appreciated that. There was a younger energy in the show that worked with her.

Dear, it was pretty obvious that she took on a role she didn't know how to handle. At least for the first few weeks of her run. I can't completely remember but I believe she called out of the show the first week she went on and didn't return for a week? I'll have to jog my memory but I don't believe i'm far off.
How long did she play it? Watching her on The View it's almost impossible to fathom her doing eight shows a week. Yet I've just watched clips, and I'm startled by how assured she is. In fact, she looks damn good.

I found her interpretation of the character and her vocals to be very good, if different from Patina (as her performance should have been, no two people should portray a role in exactly the same way).
I can't say I remember her singing at all, but I found her otherwise quite enjoyable and fun in the role. Even though she's tiny, she had no problem filling up that stage.
