Bugsy Malone Hammersmith

Wow. I am lucky I have been to 2 great theatre shows in London. On Wednesday I took my Dad to see Who's Line is it Abyway in the West End and on Thursday I took my mum to see Bugsy Malone at the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith.
What a great show Bugsy Malone is. I had not seen the film since I was a kid and had sort of forgotten what I was really going to see. There are 3 different groups of kids playing the parts and it's pot luck who you get to see when you go to see this show. Yes like the film the cast is made up of kids. In this show the main cast are kids and the backing dancers are young adults. The kids were amazing singing and dancing and acting with American accents and putting up with the hot summer heat. Yes a few times it was heard to understand what they were saying , but that did not matter as they made up for it with the singing and dancing. As said the group of kids I saw in this show were amazing. I bet I would still be saying that if I had seen one if the other 2 groups of kids.
If you liked the film or just like musical theatre go and see this show it's on until 5th September. You won't be disappoint.
