Just a heads up if anyone is curious-- THE LAST FIVE YEARS film came out on DVD/BluRay today. The BluRay is currently only $7.99 on Amazon. I'm sure this price won't last long.

Thanks for informing us. Was going to wait, but now I'm not.

"Mine's arriving today, but it was $12.99 when I placed the order. On chat with them now to see if it falls into the "price guarantee" category. EDIT: Well that was easy... They just credited me the $5. "
Thanks for posting this! I pre-ordered too, so I'm going to check mine as well, not that I mind paying a little more for this movie because I love it so much, but money is tight and this is already the 4th time I've paid for it lol
The producers/rights holders get the same no matter what, if I understand correctly. It's Amazon's decision as to how much they wanna charge as the reseller.
Just a note on Amazon in light of the many comments above re refunds etc. There may be things about the company that are objectionable (esp regarding their treatment of employees) but I have had 5 experiences with Amazon involving credits or refunds, and they have ALWAYS done the right thing, and then some. A few months ago, as an example, I received a notice that they were discontinuing their Unbox service (for downloading streaming videos for offline viewing). They said that instead that would make another file available for download that would play on the Windows video player. I downloaded it, and it would not play. The customer service person tried to solve the problem, then a tech person called, but no one was able to make it play. The original customer service person called back and asked if it would be OK if they just credited the purchase price ($9.99 I think) and I said yes. He thanked me and then said Amazon was giving me a $5 Amazon gift certificate for your time and trouble. So I had the video for a year and then got a 50% return on my investment. That is why Amazon is the biggest online seller on earth, and why people (me included) come back again and again.
Thanks to the OP for the heads up! Mine came in the mail today (thank Prime!) and this is a movie I've enjoyed more and more with each viewing. At first I was ever so slightly disappointed and gave it a B but each time I've watched it, I've enjoyed it more than the last. My rating would probably be up to an A- now. It's really wonderful.
