Uh oh it looks like they've included a lot of dialogue tracks that grow tiresome after repeated listens. But that doesn't matter I can't wait to hear it!
But that's the good thing about them being seperate tracks rather than dialogue being included in the songs, you can skip them or throw them of your ipod if want. I personally love being able to listen to a whole show, not than just the songs. They did that with Violet and I think it's awesome.
You know, I didn't hate that original artwork, I just think the new artwork looks dreadful as the cover. I don't know what I expected, I just hoped it wouldn't look like this.
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
Yes, the art is such a bad Photoshop job. Roundabout really needs to get its marketing department back on track. I liked some of the 70s-style art they were doing the previous two seasons- sad to see they've gone the budget route this year.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
The NINE revival didn't either I believe? ROAD SHOW was another, in addition to PASSION as you mentioned. I was also thinking of LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA but I think that was actually a different label.
Passion still bums me out. The artwork for that revival was gorgeous and I wish they could have found a way to make it work for the cast album cover or even just included it as an insert inside the CD case or slip cover that came with it.
