I saw this last night and can find little to recommend. It's probably one of the most cliched show I've ever seen. Like the playwright watched a bunch of music-related movies, took bits from each and Frankensteined them into this bore.

There was absolutely nothing interesting in the script that hasn't been explored countless times by films such as EMPIRE RECORDS or HIGH FIDELITY. The acting goes from fairly good (Margo Seibert & Lusia Strus) to really awful (Chris Kipiniak). The set is actually the best part and the first I've seen at Rattlestick Theater that isn't just a house/apartment.

If you're looking for something with something to say and an interesting point of view like SEX WITH STRANGERS you won't find it here.
