I was just wondering something regarding rush lines during the holiday tourist season.

Are rush lines generally longer than usual because of the tourist boom? Or in other words do they stay the same? I want to rush Les Miserables either tomorrow or Saturday and was wondering if it would be craixer than usual because of the fact that there are tourists in town or would it most likely
Be same as it has been?

The average tourist doesn't know about "rush". Most would prefer not to waste their time. However, gads of college kids are home, and they DO know.

So...yes, things will be crazier, and likely quite a bit so.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

For Les Mis rush I get there very early on the am. The closer to the front of the line the better seats you get, usually end up front row.

Isn't there a website or Twitter feed I've read about on here that tracks arrival times?

I got to Mamma Mia this morning at 8:05am and was 4th on line. Friends of the people in front of me ended up cutting the line (I know, I should have said something). and to my complete surprise, I did NOT get a ticket because they were only offering 3 for the matinee (the 2 people who cut me got 2 out of the 3 and i needed 2 tickets) and only standing room for the evening. I was so upset. The box office attendant offered me all the way on the side of the orchestra for $75! I declined and ended up going to another show. It's so crazy to me that they are selling partial view orchestra (which they usually sell for rush) for $75 just because it's a holiday weekend. I mean, I don't blame the producers at all and I understand why they're doing it but as an avid "user" of the rush system, specifically at mamma mia, i was so disappointed. Good luck to anyone who decides to rush any show this weekend!
