Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Now I actually saw a regional production of it in Raleigh...
And thought it was an improvement!

I actually thought the production in Holland looked quite enchanting (minus a few costuming/scenic choices). It still baffles me, however, why none of these productions can ever do Under the Sea properly? I always find that their costuming choices for the various sea creatures look like A) body suits or B) children's theatre costumes. Am I alone on this???
As someone else noted, I feel as if this came back to America, it wouldn't be for another two years-ish and would probably come in the form of a tour rather than a Broadway production. But who knows with Disney.

Posted: 11/21/14 at 5:14pmThis will likely be a reworked version that will tour. They should take notes from the Papermill production as that was 10x better than the Broaway production.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This show will never work without Vanessa, period. I know that seems like a small thing, but it just won't work if they keep changing that part of the ending.

I doubt any note-able names would tour with the show unless it had a Broadway future or was doing more than 1-week stops in most cities. But as for casting, I'd love to see Kecia Lewis Evans as Ursula. If she's still up for it, Cicily Daniels was the understudy for Ursula on Broadway and absolutely KILLED it. Loved her more than I did Sherie or the other replacements.
A RANDOM THOUGHT: In a make believe world where Disney brought a revamped version of TLM back to Broadway, I think it'd be interesting to see Sia as Ursula. I know as of now she's not okay with showing her face, but I think she has a fantastic voice. She has incredible control and I feel she could play the heck outta Ursula. Just thinkin' outside of the box here.

Yes, but I remember before previews began Shumacher said in an interview that he did not care too much about the negative press from Denver and what was not working. He was already satisfied that the advanced sales were so strong that it did not really matter.
The only major thing they changed from Denver was Ariel changing back into a mermaid when the sun had set and getting her voice back before becoming permanently human. In Denver, she remained human even after the sun had set and after she defeated Ursula, she and Eric kissed and her voice was restored.

I think I also remember seeing a YouTube clip from Denver where Eric actually had a solo part in 'Fathoms Below' which seemed to have resembled 'The World Above', which didn't end up making it to Broadway.
