The other day, Mel Brooks was honored to do what so many Hollywood greats have done years before him. Placing his hand and footprints in front of The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. However, he decided to do something unique to make sure he stood out from the many greats who also had the same honor bestowed upon them. However, he did it with a little twist.
HA! Love it. I can't believe Mel's just getting his place, though. His prints should have been down there years ago.
Sidebar - love this quote from Bernadette when she got her star on the nearby walk of fame:
"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987
Who cares if he has lost his way in the fashion stakes--he is a comic genius-at least he makes me laugh-still. PS--That outfit is hilarious without him saying anything.
