... as Billy Flynn. According to one of my Facebook friends in the cast (who sometimes suppilies me with news about the show from time to time), John Stamos is in discussions to join the cast of the show. He swore me to secrecy, as negotiations are ongoing. I saw an article (during the time he was in Best Man) in which a fan had asked him if he'd ever consider the role. He kind of laughted it off then. But now, I guess the Weissler's are willing to cough off some more $$ (which is saying something)to land him. I realize that he sings with the Beach Boys, but I'm curious how he'd do as Billy Flynn? Anyway, I hope that he does decide to sign on the dotted line. John Stamos makes many of his fans swoon. Keeping my fingers crossed.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I'm curious if he is actually famous enough to bring in his fans to see the show?

So you posted it on a public forum with your picture attached to it? If this isn't just another dumb April Fools joke then you're a great friend. Everyone tell him secrets.
"Pardon my prior Mcfee slip. I know how to spell her name. I just don't know how to type it." -Talulah
^ This is true. Stamos isn't a crazy suggestion, I could see it happening. Don't think he would be very good (vocally at least), but this is something that could happen.
I guess the Weissler's are aggressively targeting the Yogurt crowd now.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
Oh for goodness sakes.... it is an April Fool's joke. However, there are few things that are true about the article. When he was doing "Best Man", he did one of those video interviews for Broadway.com. I submitted a question as to whether he'd be interested in the role of Billy Flynn. I remembered that his response was that he had been asked (probably wasn't offered enough money.) He said he'd accept if Chita Rivera was there too. It's not true that a member of the cast reveals secrets to me from time to time. That part was made up. What is not false is that I do communicate sometimes...not too often... with a present and former cast member of the show. I wish he would do the show. He would be a decent Billy Flynn.
