Great show, but like Gypsy it's overdone.

There are so many other great classic shows that need revivals.
....but the world goes 'round

A revival of King and I needs to come in before we revive Fiddler again. Is K&I still happening?

I could be easily convinced to see a production of Fiddler on the Roof starring Danny Burstein, though.

Okay, I could be easily convinced to see that production, too.

I hope it's a well done production. Just keep it simple and easy. No casting misfires (I'm looking at you Rosie O'Donnell). Well cast, well acted, no gimmicks.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Riedel said a while back that this was in the works, with a "huge star" in talks.

Though not a big star (but everyone knows him and loves in the theater community), I would love to see JIM BROCHU play Tevye!

Burstein would be a perfect, perfect Tevye.

Lea Michele should reprise her stellar work as Shprintze.

It's Bart Sher, so Kelli O'Hara as Golde, obviously.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I've always wanted to see Robin Willams as Tevye. If they're talking to a big star, I'm holding out hope it's him.

That said, I'm a huge Danny Burstein fan and I could easily see him play Tevye.

I had no idea Lea Michele was in the revival. I also can't believe it has been 10 years since the last revival started performances.

And yet, when the time comes, all those saying 'pass' will be at the first preview.

I like how New York cabaret star Miles Phillips sang Tevye on this Stage Stars recording, the link has samples.
