A Hatful of Rain has never been revived on Broadway. Is it not a good play or is the subject matter too depressing to be a money-maker or is it just an overlooked gem?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

It's not an overlooked gem -- it's a good play that was well done in the original production. But I don't think it warrants any major revival; also, we've come a long way re: perception of drug abuse since 1955. I wouldn't scream and holler if it did get revived at, say, Roundabout or Off-Broadway or MTC or whatever. And I'd try to go.
